Jamie Wagman is an Associate Professor and Chair of History and Gender & Women’s Studies at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She teaches courses on U.S. Histories of Sexuality, Feminist Theory, and African-American History since Reconstruction. She has a Ph.D. in American Studies and a Gender Studies graduate certificate from Saint Louis University, and an M.A. in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University. She has been a Fulbright Specialist, a NEH Summer Scholar, and an Indiana Humanities Suffrage Speakers Bureau historian. Her work has been published in the Journal of Urban History, The Seneca Falls Dialogues Journal, Nashim: A Journal of Jewish Women’s Studies and Gender Issues, Transformations: The Journal of Inclusive Scholarship and Pedagogy, and Women and Social Movements in the United States, 1600-2000. She is co-editor of Feminist Responses to the Neoliberalization of the University: From Surviving to Thriving, with Abigail Palko and Sonalini Sapra (Lexington Books, 2020).
